Hello and thank you for visiting!
I am a PhD candidate in Hispanic Linguistics minoring in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT) and General Linguistics at the University of Arizona. I am also a Graduate Associate in Teaching within the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. My areas of interest are Spanish, Romance and comparative morphosyntax, psycholinguistics, L1/L2/L3/Ln acquisition, and Bilingualism.
I am originally from Avilés, in the Principality of Asturias (Spain). I received my BA in English Studies from the University of Oviedo, where I also pursued an MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. Before arriving in Arizona, I obtained another MA degree in Hispanic Studies and Comparative Literature from the University of Kent in Canterbury (UK).
